ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENT INFORMATION OFFICERS IN CENTRAL LUZON, INC (AGIOP-CL, INC)
AGIO-CL is a network of regional government information officers in Central Luzon. This network was organized in the 80’s by the Philippine Information Agency (PIA). It serves as a mechanism for the promotion and advocacy of the programs and services of the national government.
OJECTIVES:
- To promote mutual understanding, fraternal relationship, solidarity, and cooperation among member-agencies.
- To pursue a pro-active and multi-sectional information campaign to drumbeat national government agencies/ Government owned and from the national to the grassroots level.
- To establish the most cordial and cooperative interaction between the private media at its member.
- To work for the formulation and Implementation of information plans, program and projects for effective delivery of public service.
- To participate and engage in local and national information education and communication (IEC) and advocacy activities that may necessitate the attainment of AGIO-CL Objectives.
