Feast of San Isidro Labrador

(Pulilan; 15th of May). Foreign and domestic tourists are drawn to the festival because it is highlighted by a parade of kneeling carabaos.

Fertility Dance

(Obando; May 17-19). Dance your way to finding a lover or bearing a child on the feast days of San Pascual Baylon, Sta. Clara de Asis, and Virgen de Salambao.

Horse Festival

(Plaridel; December 29-30). Herd of horses with colorful tilburies are seen parading in the streets of Plaridel in reverence to St. James the Apostle.

Lenten Rites

The most remarkable and dramatic Lenten shows unfurl in barrios Kapitangan and San Agustin in Paombong and Hagonoy, respectively, and in some Calumpit barrios, some 50 kilometers north of Manila

Pagoda sa Wawa

(Bocaue; first Sunday of July). A fluvial parade in Bocaue in honor of the miraculous “Krus sa Wawa,” a dramatic tradition inspired by centuries-old tales.

Parancillo

(Valenzuela; May 12). A colorful street pageantry with touches of the Ati-Atihan. This age-old religious thanksgiving festivity is a mardi-gras celebration.

Pulilan Carabao Festival

(Pulilan; May15). Envidioned to attract foreign and domestic tourists, the festival primarily pays homage to the patron saint of the farmers, San Isidro de Labrador. Highlight id the parade of kneeling carabaos and an agro-industrial fair.

Santacruzan

“Reyna Elenas” and “Sagalas” are annual highlights of countryside May festivals in Bulacan Province.

San Juan

(Calumpit; June 24). This tradition is celebrated where people douse each other with water. A fluvial parade usually culminates St. John day in barrio Capalangan, Calumpit where tourists and fiesta celebrants sway to the music of brass bands or rondalla aboard a huge “pagoda”.

Singkaban Festival

(Malolos; September 8-10). A festival of arts and culture in honor of the capitol’s patron, Our Lady of Victory, showcasing the traditional arts of the “Balagtasan,” folk dances, and the “Kundiman” amidst the display of Singkaban arches.

Sto. Nino Festival

(Malolos; last Sunday of January). The biggest expression of devotion to the Holy Child Jesus in the Luzon island.

Barasoain Church

(Malolos). The seat of the Revolutionary Congress where the First Filipino Constitution was drafted and ratified.
