Col. John Stotsenberg Marker

(Plaridel). A tombstone that marks the resting place of the American soldier who died at Plaridel

during the Fil-American War.

Dr. Manuel Calderon House

(Marilao). A century-old house converted into a miniature park, ala-Disneyland.

Francisco Balagtas Monument

(Balagtas). Erected in honor of the foremost Philippine poet.

Hiyas ng Bulakan

(Malolos). A cultural center and a museum that serves as the keeper of the histories of great men like

Francisco Balagtas, Gregorio and Marcelo H. Del Pilar, Mariano Ponce, and other famous men,

including their famous works, artifacts, relics, and manuscripts which depict their fame.

Institutem del Mujares Ruins

(Malolos). A place where Dr. Jose Rizal addressed his famous letters to the women of Malolos.

Ipo Dam

(Barangay San Mateo). This was constructed before World War ll and is one of the biggest water

suppliers of Metro Manila.

Liwasang San Miguel

(Marilao). A well-planned town square in front of the church and municipal building of Marilao.

Manila Newton´s

(San Jose del Monte). Located in Sapang Palay Proper, is frequently by local and foreign tourists

especially on weekends and during summertime for picnics and other merry celebrations.

Recreational facilities include swimming pool, golf course, baskerball and pelota courts, marina

resort with huts and bancas for hire.

Malolos Presidential Palace

Official residence of General Emilio Aguinaldo during his presidency.

Old Colonial Houses

(Bustos). Located along the road leading to Angat Town are these colonial houses remniscent of the

Spanish regime.

Paete of Bulakan

(Bustos). Where lanzones abound.

Famous for its curative mineral waters, it is 35 kms. away from Manila and very accessible to

Shrine of Marcelo H. del Pilar

(Bulacan). Shrine of the foremost nationalist and propagandist located in his hometown, Bulacan,

also his nephew Gen. Gregorio del Pilar, hero of Tirad Pass.
